The Piece
Every segment is cut to a point and set flush against the next, so the band runs as one line of chevrons from clasp to clasp. At 48.2 grams of solid 925 sterling silver it is the heaviest bracelet in the range. The pointed faces flash as the wrist turns.
Two sizes. 8 inches (20cm) sits close, 9 inches (23cm) hangs and moves. Measure your wrist before you choose, because at this weight the loose size swings.
Each one is torch-tested by hand in Melbourne before it is listed.
The chevron link
A chevron link is a V, cut to a point at one end and set so each point nests into the segment behind it. Nothing overlaps and nothing gaps. The band ends up with two angled faces running its whole length instead of one flat surface, so it throws light in two directions as the wrist turns. The Nocturne Lock Bracelet carries almost the same weight in a mariner link.
Fit
Two lengths, measured end to end with the clasp closed. 8 inches is 20cm and sits close to the wrist. 9 inches is 23cm and hangs.
Wrap a soft tape measure or a strip of paper around your wrist just below the bone and read the number where it meets, then compare it directly against those two figures. A 20cm band on an 18cm wrist leaves 2cm. The same wrist in the 23cm size leaves 5cm, which is a lot of movement at this weight.
Choose carefully. 48.2 grams on a loose band swings against the wrist bone, and that is the one complaint a heavy bracelet earns. When you are between the two sizes, take the shorter one.
The silver
Solid 925 sterling silver, 92.5 per cent silver with 7.5 per cent alloy for hardness. The maker in Turkey stamps the 925 mark, and each piece is torch-tested by hand in Melbourne before listing.
The bracelet carries an anti-tarnish finish, so it holds its brightness far longer than bare sterling. That finish is not permanent. Once it wears, the 925 underneath darkens the way sterling does, and it starts in the inside angles of the chevrons where a cloth reaches last. Keep a polishing cloth for that stage rather than routine care, because it is abrasive and lifts the finish with the tarnish. Plating wears through instead and does not return. Care

- Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing
- Keep away from perfume, sunscreen, chlorine and saltwater
- Store in the velvet box, away from other pieces, so nothing scratches
- Take it off before the shower, the pool and the gym
The finish is not permanent. It wears with time and contact, and the solid 925 underneath then darkens the way sterling does. Save the silver polishing cloth for that stage. Used routinely, it is abrasive enough to lift the finish along with the tarnish.
